General Support / Re: OmniNavigation Add Map Help
« on: Today at 12:23:14 AM »
I attached the whole.roadmap.bmp file. Just had to compress it so I could attach it. I'm working on a map that I'm creating myself based on my hometown. Only a few routes are driveable at this point. If you need it I can zip it up and send it to you privately.
It seems to be done properly, idk why it's not working proper since there's no gaps.

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to add my own map to the OmniNavigation navigator for OMSI 2. When I create the roadmap in the editor, I get no visible errors however when I load it in ON, it lets me know that the roadmap was generated with errors. When I load the map in the simulator the base map overlay appears fine however the route track and my position on the map are erratic and not at all where they should be. Does anyone know what the issue is with this, and how I could fix it?
Thanks,
Jake
What maps are you doing this with, and could you show the "whole.roadmap.bmp" file?

MTA sent SEPTA a 2003-2004 model in 2005 so if the test bus wouldve passed then they would get a 2005 batch that MTA got (6490-67xx). It would be pretty cool if SEPTA ordered Orion VII HEVs.

A slight correction on that, if the test was successful SEPTA's 2008 order would've only likely been VII Hybrids as SEPTA would've specified BAE Systems HybriDrive on future orders instead of Allison Ep40 (which was the only option for New Flyer hybrids at the time). It's still possible that the order could've still gone to New Flyer (or even NABI). The 2005 order was the remaining diesels from the order placed back in 2000, which would've had 100 buses delivered per year from 2001-2006 (though that, in itself, got changed because 200 buses were delivered in 2004 instead of just 100 but we won't get into that).

Btw does anyone know if that SEPTA demo Orion VII HEV was MTAs original 6365?
Also yes, the Orion VII Demo was MTA's 6365.

this is inserting i would love to see that bus in mta new York city transit
but they tested a battery bus in 2007 it didn't make it in the big apple
heres a pic
That's a hybrid. There's plenty of Hybrids currently operating in NYC (The Orion VII NG Fleet is 95% hybrid, actually). The problem with this particular bus is that it used an unusual and untested turbine power. Later on, the company that produced them went out of business. NYC, Baltimore, and eventually NJ Transit had issues with Designline (the builder)
accounting to the mta its the 1st  Battery Electric bus they had    but u know the mta as well as i do *dash 5155*
The first hybrid, it would be the Orion VI fleet (from 1998/1999)
There's also a full fleet of 2003-2007 Orion VII Hybrids that are still in service (one of which was sent to SEPTA as a demo in 2005).

Whoa, you're going to have to give me some pointers!

Also, did you make the buildings/objects or are they from elsewhere? My eyes turned to hearts :o

General Support / Re: OMSI 2 Freezing on startup
« on: August 14, 2017, 03:59:01 PM »
This has been happening to me since last night. Whenever I load up OMSI 2, it gives the "loading map and new situation" screen and just sits there unresponsive. I have an idea that it may be a result of me installing the Wiesenburg (not Winsenburg) map, which I've since removed. But it's still doing that. Even after a complete uninstall/reinstall. I'm not really sure what else to do at this point.

Attached is the last logfile I ran before this post.
You're going to have to physically go in and delete the files you installed with Wiesenburg, since basically at this point, the game is corrupted. That may not be the fix-all solution though as there's no promise it'd work right away, but that's where you have to start.

Here's the logfile: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7kFAfvT7GyXUDcxY0FqRGlLTGc
Use the "OMSI 2 Patch Changer.exe" (located in the OMSI 2 main folder) to give yourself 2.3.032, that will get your game compatible with that map.

Most likely won't do any BETA tests since I don't want a bunch of versions of this bus on the internet.

If I could heart react to this, I would

After I drive a train in OMSI for a while, the game crashes. Unfortunately, the logfile is too large to upload, so ill give you the error in the logfile: 78552 10:59:42 AM -  -   Error:           Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 00720419 in Modul 'Omsi.exe'. Lesen von Adresse 00000260: TPM.GSC.R
Unfortunately that doesn't say enough, I would need to know what happened before that came up.

Thank YOU for updating us and letting us know the problem was solved. Very rarely do people actually do that!

I actually thought we had a photo thread lol nonetheless nice pictures.

I should probably make one, so that we can all share and compare fleet pictures, since we're all enthusiasts here.

So whenever I apply the brakes to the bus, right before it comes to a complete stop, the game freezes for a few seconds or a little bit longer. Now this only happens on some maps, including default steam purchased maps like Berlin X10. Any pointers? Here is my log file if that might help.
Do you have the "Autosave" option enabled in "Advanced Options?"

It's very likely that the random freeze when you apply the brakes is your game autosaving, which it actually doesn't need to do since OMSI always saves your last situation when you exit in the first place.
